Workshops with Grow Still

We provide workshops, tools, and many other resources to help emerging adults transition successfully into adulthood.
Our programs are based on various socioemotional and psychological theories that provide a holistic approach to wellness.

We believe that everyone can succeed at what they aspire to do if they have the right tools and guidance behind them.

Program Reviews

~ Becoming Your Best Self participant, 2020

~ Becoming Your Best Self participant, 2020

Discussion Circles

Location:

Zoom & Park Lafontaine, Montreal

Dates:

July 10 onwards. See below for full schedule.

  • Do you want to learn how to discuss difficult topics such as inequality, illness, and conflict?
  • Do you want to connect with yourself and your community?

Grow Still created the Care2Share Discussion Circles as a way to encourage the community to  discuss difficult issues that impact society. Our purpose is two-fold: First, we want to work together to alleviate the pain and isolation that often accompany topics such as inequality, illness, and conflict. Second, we want to facilitate self-education, equip participants to engage in discussion with peers and family members, and to inspire action for change.

All topics will fall under one of  3 themes:

Inequality: Topics include racism, ageism, sexism, ableism, and homophobia.

Illness: Topics include substance abuse, mental health, chronic illnesses, and cognitive/learning/developmental disabilities.

Conflict: Topics include hypersexualization, toxic relationships, family conflict, and death & grief.

Program Reviews

“I started painting on a day that I carried a lot of sadness and anger. My battle with mental health has been a bumpy ride lately. […] This painting allowed me to express my emotions and find an outlet for my pain and anger. I am grateful for being able to express my emotions, in a free, non judgemental space.”

Program Reviews

“Grow is something that I will always remember as the catalyst for my self exploration and healing process. […] The main thing that Grow had done to make a difference in my life is that it helped me to realize that I can take my own life into my own hands — I can grow from past trauma and become the person that I am proud to be. I still have a long way to go but I am so grateful to have learned about my potential in my early 20s and I thank Grow for this.”
~ Life Guide participant, 2019

“This really came at a time when I needed it the most. I was feeling kind of lost and felt as if my situation was unraveling. I needed to feel more grounded and to regain control in order to move forward with my career and life. The guiding sessions helped me do that by giving me valuable knowledge and really guiding me through the various difficulties a young adult faces in day to day life.”
